Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the VP, Commercial Development, the marketing leader will help develop Revolution Medicine’s marketing function for the company’s lead KRAS programs in preparation for anticipated launches. You will be a leader within the Commercial team to define the marketing strategy and oversee exemplary execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and developing marketers and collaborating cross functional leaders to achieve product goals and objectives. This role will also work with corporate strategy leadership to translate longer-term product goals into relevant downstream marketing activities, achievable over a 12-24 month time horizon. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead the comprehensive marketing function & strategy. Oversee the omnichannel promotional platform integrated across multiple marketing functions.Define and build alignment around function 2 – 3 year strategic plan, including specific and clear objectives. Ensure alignment with company needs given broadening and deepening its commercial footprint. Integrate a strong understanding of current trends and future opportunities.Prioritize deliverables in a way that balance portfolio needs with ensuring successful near-term launches.Build alignment across functional partners to ensure coordinated and compliant education. (Med affairs, Sales, Compliance, Market Access)Interact creatively and collaboratively with internal and external teams and partners to build influence and impact. Leverage an analytical mindset with the ability to work across several diverse dimensions to build impactful partnerships. Must be a strong team player with demonstrated success in engaging teams and influencing throughout the organization.Advises Senior Leadership Team regarding market needs, clear KPIs and compliance considerations to shape organizational decision making.Operates as ambassador of the company, establishing organization as trusted member of the healthcare community (Patients, HCPs, Payers, Policy makers, Industry peers).Owns marketing budget and manages initiatives to optimize impact and drive efficiencies.Travels as needed.Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred) with at least 18+ years of progressive commercial experience in a biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical company.Experience in leading the launch of new products.10+ years of experience leading and coaching people.Deep understanding of the oncology space, specifically in solid tumor, preferably pancreatic cancer, NSCLC and or GI.Demonstrated track record of positioning current and future products, building fact- and insight-based innovative, compelling marketing programs.Strong planning, problem-solving, organization and teamwork.Adaptable; capable of accurately assessing situations quickly and adapting plans accordingly.A track record of making an immediate, positive impact on the business.Superior communication skills; articulate, passionate and able to deliver messages in a thoughtful and effective manner, equally effective across the commercial and the broader organization with internal and external partners.Able to simplify complex problems and execute effectively to resolve these issues.Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.Ability to represent Revolution Medicines well externally: strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.Entrepreneurial mindset, with a tolerance for ambiguity, and a passion for helping cancer patients.

Preferred Skills:

Proven experience in a smaller, rapidly growing, company.Targeted oncology product experience strongly preferred.Sales experience and ideally sales or field leadership.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $265,000 to $340,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
