Position summary:

Reuben's Brews is looking for an experienced Head of Production with an unrelenting passion for the Craft Beer industry. This role will lead and oversee the brewery. They will oversee the production team, production facilities and equipment, manage relationships with outside partners, and ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency and safety. This role would be a member of Reuben’s Brews senior leadership team.

About us:

Reuben's Brews is a family brewery that opened in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and two private event spaces, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2023 we brewed 27,000 BBLs.

The role:

This role is responsible for the following:

Leadership, Management & Accountability

Production operations and results

Efficient scheduling of people and processes

Continuous improvement of quality and safety

Coordinating brewery maintenance and upkeep

Special projects

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in brewery or beverage operations.

Minimum of 2 years managing and growing a significantly sized team through coaching, hiring and accountability

Proven track record of managing production teams and optimizing processes.

Strong leadership, management and communication skills. Extremely organized, self-motivated, honest, and hard-working.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Highly organized and proficient in business software (spreadsheets / ERP systems etc).

Knowledge of safe work operations and safety policies.

Related degree or professional qualification would be highly beneficial.

An interest in the beer industry, including a strong knowledge of Reuben’s.

Physical demands include but are not limited to: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Often lift or move full 1/2BBL kegs.
