Job Description:
LVI Associates are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our clients Structural Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Design and Analysis:
Perform detailed engineering design and analysis for various civil and structural projects, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.Documentation:
Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of engineering excellence.Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve engineering issues and challenges promptly and efficiently.Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Licensure:
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.Experience:
5-8 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering.Skills:
Strong project management skills.Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
