As a Controller of three of our plastic injection molding plants located in Illinois and Indiana, you will lead team located in the corporate office and be responsible for closing, financial reporting, AP and AR for three plants. The position reports to the Vice President of Finance in Oak Brook, IL.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP including a full package of income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows for each plant

• Oversea and manage accounting operations such as A/R, A/P, expense management and reporting

• Maintain standard costing for each plant, including monthly reviews of raw material purchase price variances and labor and overhead absorption

• Review production work orders and variances

• Manage the financial planning, annual budget and forecast for each plant

• Maintain general ledgers and all related reconciliations

• Manage an accounting team of 4 who support your plants

• Maintain fixed asset and construction in process ledgers

• Comply and develop best practices policies and procedures

• Analyze customer and product pricing and profit margin

• Lead and measure annual physical inventory and cycle count programs to ensure inventory accuracy and control

• Liaise with the external auditors

• Collaborate with plant General Managers and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization

• Support special projects as needed, such as M&A diligence and integration support

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

• 5+ years of experience with proven experience as a Controller of similar financial leadership role in a manufacturing environment

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing, and inventory management is required

• Delmlaworks (IQMS) ERP software and cost accounting experience a plus

• Highly analytical, comfortable as individual contributor while working with other functional team members

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
