Responsibilities:Advanced Technical Support:Provide Tier III support for complex technical issues related to servers, networks, applications, and other IT systems.Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
System Analysis and Optimization:Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvements, including upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
Project Involvement:Participate in IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations, by providing technical expertise and ensuring seamless execution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Generate reports on system performance, incident trends, and support metrics for management review.
Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure.Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and other IT staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Security and Compliance:Ensure that systems and applications adhere to security policies, standards, and compliance requirements.Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security controls to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in systems analysis, IT support, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a Tier III or senior-level capacity.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.Proficiency in troubleshooting complex system issues and implementing effective solutions.Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Additional Requirements:
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are preferred.Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and frameworks, such as ITIL, is advantageous.Availability for on-call support as needed.
