Southside Warehouse is looking for experienced forklift operators at least two years of experience.Receiving: Ensuring inbound trailers are secured, unloading pallets, palletizing mixed products, scanning pallets, and hauling pallets to storageProduction support: Verifying products against drop listsSafe work environment: Promoting a safe work environment through personal actionsLoading and unloading: Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient mannerChecking and counting: Checking and counting freight for accuracy and/or damageTaking inventory: Taking inventory as neededsalary: $16 - $17.01 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: High School
Responsibilities
Sitdown forklift operation.Pulling and packing orders.Receiving and stocking products being delivered via containersAssisting with the loading and unloading of delivery trucksScanning products and maintaining accurate inventory levelsMaintaining safety standardsOther duties as assignedExperience/Skills:
Warehouse experience requiredForklift experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work and thrive in a team environmentAbility to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one time
