Server Racking Technician

Job Description:As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in configuring and assembling refurbished Dell and HPE servers to meet our diverse range of customers' specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of server hardware, and the ability to provide ongoing technical support.Key Responsibilities:Configure and Assemble Servers: Carefully assemble servers according to specific customer requirements. This includes hardware installation, software configuration, and system testingQuality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure all servers meet our high-quality standards before dispatchTechnical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to customers, assisting with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of serversProduct Customization: Work closely with sales team to understand their solutions and customize products to their specific needsInventory Management: Keep track of server components and hardware inventory, ensuring availability and readiness for assemblyDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, customer specifications, and technical configurationsCollaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales and engineering teams to enhance product offerings and customer satisfactionContinual Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in server hardware and softwareRequired Experience and Skills:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferredExperience: 1-2 years of experience in server/pc assembly or a related fieldTechnical Skills: Proficient in assembling and configuring Dell and HPE serversProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and qualityCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Certifications:CompTIA A+ Certification: demonstrates basic IT literacy, especially in hardware and troubleshootingCompTIA Server+ Certification: shows proficiency in server hardware and software technologiesOther Relevant Certifications: any additional certifications related to network or server technologies are a plusServerMonkey is an equal opportunity employer
