**Certifications:** Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS & NIH

**Must-Have:**- High acuity PCU patient experience- Interpretation of dysrhythmias- Use of rapid response teams- Feeding tube care and management- Accessing Ports- Blood Product Administration- Central line care/management- Peripheral Line Care/Management- PICC line management- Starting IVs- Heparin Protocols- Manage Cardiac drips- no titration- PCA- Titrate Cardiac drips- Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac- External CPAP/BIPAP- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Interpretation of ABGs- Nasal Cannula- Tracheostomy Management

**Job Description:**- Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients, focusing on high acuity of PCU and ICU- Candidates with PCU/ICU experience preferred- May float to Med/Surg units- Infection prevention protocols and patient falls focus- Manage units equipped with B450 monitors, GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanners, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, PCA Pumps- 18J is a 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care- Pediatric patients are occasionally present but not a primary responsibility- Flexible scheduling with self-schedule requests allowed; however, no set schedule, weekends, or block schedule- The facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend- Orientation and training with 24 hours and 36 hours with preceptor support during the second week- Strict compliance guidelines and travel compliance requirements- Flu Vaccine Required - Medical Exemptions Only- Professional growth and development opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package- Weekend shifts are variable and staffing ratios aim for 1:4-5 but may vary based on unit needs
