As part of our team, you will collaborate with the team while individually contributing to project deliverables that meet our clients needs.You will be required to be at client site in Austin Texas 2 days per week.**Your future duties and responsibilities:**Design new products, product features, and product enhancements for large scale applicationsParticipate in PI and sprint planningProvide unit test coverage and validation supportReview and understand specifications, use cases, and requirementsSupport continuous integration and deploymentConduct code reviews for more junior members of the teamInvestigate and resolve issuesRefactor / optimize codeThrive in a collaborative environment to drive team success**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**8+ years of professional software development experience designing and building web-based enterprise application with Java. Masters degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.Must be very strong on Frontend developmentExperience as a Java developer using Java/J2EE, Spring boot framework and ORM Hibernate frameworkStrong core Java experience with OOP conceptsHands On Experience with Spring Framework, creating REST webservices and persisting objects in Relational DatabasesExpertise with SQL and one or more of the following: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL ServerAble to conduct code reviews and complete pull requests with Azure DevOpsAbility to create and improve TDD coverage with JUnit, Cucumber, Karma, JasmineUnderstanding of Agile/Lean software development principles along with experience participating in agile projectsExperience with Front End frameworks, HTML, CSS, NPM, Angular 15 or above, is a plusExperience with Java Design Patterns, Hibernate, Maven, JUNIT5, GIT/GITHUB, Postman, Java Mockito, or other mock tools for testing, and Java logging Log4Extensive knowledge in developing and executing unit tests and integration testsResearch and develop new technologies and best practicesExperience with Microsoft ADO or an equivalent toolsetBuilds strong trusting relationships with the client stakeholders and/or client project teamsStrong leadership skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectivelyBachelors degree in computer science or a related fieldDesired Qualifications:Knowledge of Red Hat Workflow, MuleSoft ESBKnowledge of Azure DevOps, AWS, or Google Cloud PlatformHands-on technical lead experiencePublic Sector (State and Local Government) consulting experienceCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
