Responsibilities

The Summer Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Related Fund Management private equity team in evaluating and executing investments across the U.S. Specifically, this Summer Analyst will assist in underwriting, due diligence, and closings.Collaborate with the Investments team to underwrite potential acquisition opportunities by conducting thorough due diligence, performing detailed financial analyses, and creating sensitivity models to assess risks and returnsDevelop proformas to evaluate both current and projected property incomeAssist the Asset Management team in executing property business plans to optimize asset value, including reviewing and analyzing annual operating budgets, financial models, and historical performanceContribute to the preparation of comprehensive business plans, including annual operating plans, financial forecasts, and long-term strategic plansConduct in-depth research and analysis on industry comparables, submarket trends, and emerging market conditions to inform investment and asset management strategiesAssess project exposure and risk by evaluating financial metrics, market conditions, and project-specific variables to support decision-making across various real estate portfoliosCompensation:

The hourly range for this position is $30 to $45 per hourQualifications

Related's Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Current undergraduate junior with a target graduation date between December 2025- Spring 2026Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate Finance or other relevant fieldsA strong passion for real estate and financeExcellent quantitative and analytical skills; expertise with excelExhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledgeDemonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writingSelf-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challengesAbility to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environmentResume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

Our formal 10-week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success.
