Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.PositionRockefeller Capital Managements Fixed Income Team within the Asset Management Business is seeking a Summer Analyst to support their team. The candidate will assist the Director of Fixed Income and broader Fixed Income team across a variety of functions. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn more about Rockefellers approach to fixed income portfolio management. The candidate will participate in daily and weekly discussions on macro factors impacting markets, culture and expertise in research, due diligence, data review, and market research across fixed income sectors.

The candidate also will have an opportunity to partner with individuals from other areas of the firm, including Wealth Advisory and Middle Office teams.Responsibilities:Gain an understanding of Fixed Income Sales, Trading and Research effortsAssist in preparing various reports including performance dispersion, broker usage analysis, and compliance reportsAnalyze market conditions across a variety of factors including issuance trends, liquidity trends, relative value opportunities, etcPerform ad hoc projects such as market, sector, security research and/or client portfolio analysisQualifications:

High school degree required.Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or Business is desirable.Prior internship experience in asset management or investment operations experience a plus.Skills:

Ability to work well independently and as a part of a teamAbility to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations ariseDetail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to exercise discretion with confidential mattersStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to express ideas clearly and concisely

Compensation Range:The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38/hour.
