Job Title: Van Driver Job Family: Child CarePosition Summary:Under the direction of the Child Care Director, transport children enrolled in the childcare program from designated schools to the YMCA site.
Essential Functions:Transport children from designated schools to YMCA site.Monitor all children while transporting to the YMCA site.Provide open communication with parents, children, and staff to assure highest standards of care are being met.Participate in promoting and enforcing of established ground rules.Participate in maintenance of cleanliness and safety of the physical environment.

Qualifications:Minimum of 21 years of age.Valid Massachusetts class 7D transportation license.Current knowledge of state and YMCA standards and regulations specific to early education and childcare.Ability to effectively interact with children on a range of issues.Demonstrated ability to make mature judgments in difficult situations.
