Position-
Network Technician ILocation-
West Mifflin, PA - onsiteDuration- 18 Months contract (High Possibility to extend)
Note:
Will Require Travel To Other Sites On The West Side Of Pa- Mileage Will Be Reimbursed
Duties:
Monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots data or voice networks; responds to alarms or problems identified by tools.Implements pre-defined trouble-shooting procedures and scripts and escalates as appropriate.Monitors and controls the performance and status of the network resources.Utilizes software and hardware tools, identifies, and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Provides guidance and direction for less-experienced technicians.Under general direction, responsible for the most complex testing and analysis of all elements of the network and telecommunications facilities (including power, communications devices, lines, modems, and terminals). Associate's degree in applicable technical field.
Minimum Requirements (Requirements that are essential for performing the job):
Demonstrated experience, or equivalent certifications/training, supporting data networking technologies in an enterprise environment, including:LAN switching and routing in a Cisco enterprise network environmentWLAN fundamentals and support of Cisco solutions
Desired Qualifications:
Cisco CCNA certification, or greaterServer hardware repair expertiseProject Management experience / certification
