**Must-Have:**- Multi-specialty OR experience, particularly in ortho and robotics- Level 1 trauma experience- Previous traveler experience- Active RN license- Flexibility to care for COVID-19 patients- Willingness to float if needed- Candidates must be nicotine-free- Full COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
**Job Description:**The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and providing care for patients in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel to ensure optimal patient care. Responsibilities include:- Ensuring the availability of supplies and timely management of surgical cases- Communicating with families and updating physician preference cards- Assisting and scrubbing during surgical cases- Supervising personnel delivering patient care according to regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies- Participants will adhere to all health and safety protocols, including flu vaccination requirements between September 7 and April 30.
