TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 26 weeks (Option for 13 weeks if willing to work through holidays) Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Yes Experience: 2 years of Telemetry or Step-down experience required License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: EPIC charting experience, ability to work every other weekend, work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) Job Description: - Provide patient care and monitoring in a telemetry unit. - Manage and administer EKGs and cardiac drips. - Attend to patient diagnoses including CHF, arrhythmias, ACS-STEMI/NSTEMI, heart valve disease, CAD, hypertensive crisis, chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, pacemaker and AICD malfunctions, acute renal failure, and LVAD patients. - Float within the facility or to affiliated hospitals as needed, within the scope of practice. - Support a teaching and learning environment in a Level I Trauma Center. - Collaborate and communicate effectively with hospital staff and management. - Participate in orientation and complete required modules pre-start. - Comply with all health and safety regulations, including flu vaccination requirements, with exemptions as applicable. - Follow all compliance and RTO protocols, including the amount of allowed RTO and submission deadlines. - Maintain professional standards and practice according to the policy for traveling healthcare staff. 26134785EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
