Job Title: Data Modeler (ACORD)
Location: Hybrid is better- Hartford CT or can push remote too
Job Description:Understand our existing data and architecture deeply (granular level)Design Business Object, Canonical and Semantic Models at the enterprise and/or individual line of business and/or product levelBe responsible for the development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platformsOversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices. The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively.Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.Be able to make presentations to senior management.Contribute to the development of the Data Modeling team's tools, skills, culture, and impactSkills
10+ years of extensive work experience in various data modeling techniques (relational, data warehouse, semi-structured, etc.), application development, advance data querying skills10+years of programming experience in SQL.Knowledge of
ACORD
Reference architecture and experience is a big plusAbility to interpret complex data requirements and architect solutionsExperience with SAP Power Designer or a similar data modeling tool.Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools ( Erwin or ER Studio
or others) required.Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse is a plus.Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management
