Proficient in creation of source-to-target data mappings; mapping of tables, files, XML schemas, etc. from source to target; experience with
Erwin Mapping Manager
would be a huge plusProficient in data modeling for both transactional and dimensional data warehouse databasesPrefer knowledge of and applied use of Kimball Data Warehouse MethodologyExperience using a standard data modeling toolset; prefer working knowledge of Erwin Data Modeler and MartData mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation)2+ years' experience coding in a development language such as Data Stage, Python, C++, or other language is a plusStrong ability to work with SQL databases; (SQL Server, Azure Synapse and/or Netezza DBMS a plus)Working knowledge of Azure Synapse Cloud Platform and data components is a plusKnowledge of real-time analytics and BI platforms such as Tableau and/or Power BIData Analysis experience with data profiling and data validationUnderstanding of Data Quality (DQ) concepts and familiarity with DQ tools and methods; experience working on an active Data Governance Program is a plusAbility to communicate with customers to obtain data requirements and perform data analysis on data providedStrong oral and written communication skills - a MUSTAbility to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain languageAbility to work with teams towards a shared goalAbility to change direction quickly based on data analysis and/or architecture directionAbility to proactively seek clarification of requirements and direction to gain optimal solutions
