Salary: $100,000 - $155,000 per year
A bit about us:We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Creditors Rights Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, advocating for creditors' rights, and representing our clients in legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in discovery, motions, and litigation and must be a member in good standing of the Oregon Bar.

- Representing clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations related to creditors' rights and collections.
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in order to resolve disputes efficiently and favorably.
- Advising and counseling clients on their legal rights and obligations, potential risks, and recommended courses of action.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations pertaining to creditors' rights and collections.
- Collaborating with legal staff and other stakeholders to ensure the effective management of cases.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Creditors Rights Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on creditors' rights, discovery, motions, and litigation.
- Active membership and good standing with the Oregon Bar.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to creditors' rights and collections.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
