6pm-6am (rotating schedule Mon-Wed for 5 weeks then Thurs-Sat for 5 weeks) Paid for 40 hours only work 36.

Job DetailsJob Details:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dedicated and reliable Web Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent 2nd shift position, providing an excellent opportunity for those who have a passion for printing and want to work with the most advanced printing technology. The Web Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining our web press machines, ensuring the highest quality print production and meeting all deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain web press machines, including digital press, commercial web press, Sunday press, S2000, and S1000, ensuring optimal performance and output.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to rectify any technical issues that may arise.
- Monitor the print process to maintain high-quality output and promptly resolve any print defects.
- Manage the print schedule to ensure all deadlines are met, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure the smooth transition of projects from pre-press to press.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies within the work area.
- Continuously analyze and recommend improvements to optimize press performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Web Press Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with digital press, commercial web press, Sunday press, S2000, and S1000 or equivalent.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills to operate and maintain press machines.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field will be considered an advantage.
