Job Title: Development Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76119
Pay: 22/hr
Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday
*Some nights and weekends required
Job Description:
Coordinate and oversee logistics for internal and external events, helping raise crucial funds and awareness for our mission. You will also support donor stewardship activities and work directly with donors, committee members, and the public, playing a vital role in our Development Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implement a variety of internal and external events and fundraising projects
Support donor recognition and stewardship activities
Collaborate with donors, committee members, and community partners
Assist with planning and logistics for awareness-raising projects
Qualifications:
Highschool or GED - Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required, especially with similar nonprofit or special event experience
Minimum 1-3 years in nonprofit, event planning, or a related environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with donor-based software a plus
Excellent customer service, organizational, and time-management skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
