ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• Our client is a leading service organization and they are looking to add a Collections Coordinator to the Accounting Team. They are a leader in their industry and are consistently growing organically and through acquisition. This role will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Send correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• The Collections Coordinator will confer with customers in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.
• Notify credit department if customers fail to respond.
• Record information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.
• Receive payment and post amount paid to customer account.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 1 + years of commercial collections experience
• Solid computer skills
