The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Information Services the IT Business Systems Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements, to determine appropriate solutions, to evaluate and select suitable products, to manage implementation and delivery, and to provide on-going support of systems. The incumbent is required to understand project management, including budget, schedule, implementation, and delivery. The incumbent is required to be able to configure software applications to meet the needs and requirements of the end users, business owners, and compliance.

What You'll Be DoingCollaborates with Business partners to elicit and analyze requirements, and models business information and processes into workflows and use cases.With Business partners, evaluates and selects suitable solutions within the parameters of IT infrastructures, compliance, and technical requirements.Manages vendor implementation and configuration to address requirements and to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.Supports testing, validation, and documentation as necessary.Provides system configuration and other on-going support post-implementation.Responsible for supported system service agreements, including managed support, system licensing and certifications, and user subscriptions/licenses.Provides training and support of systems as appropriate.Manages user security and administration for supported systems.Documents standard operating procedures, work instructions, job aids, and other IT responsibilities for supported systems, integrations, devices, and instruments.Responsible for system integrated hardware devices and instruments.Assists with other system and IT roles and functions as appropriate.Independently determines the plan for new assignments and department efficiencies and communicates them to others.Recommends alternatives and researches new functionality and techniques.Works with minimal supervision and may provide advice and guidance to lower levels.Support other IT Business Analysts with their systems, as a secondary responsibility.Manages service accounts for supported systems and account expiry for services.It is imperative that REGENXBIO employees embody our core values by working collaboratively, building strong relationships and using clear communication to meet shared objectives.We set our employees up for success. To be successful in this role and help us achieve our goals, we are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

B.S. in a STEM field with 8+ years of biotech/pharma experience or M.S. in a STEM field with 5+ years of biotech/pharma experience.Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in different Business units to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements to determine appropriate information systems.Effective time management by prioritizing workload.Excellent organizational skills.Ability and willingness to learn new technology and tools to help meet user needs and become more effective.Understanding of life science industry and of ELN, MES, BMS, LIMS, Veeva, or ComplianceWire systems is preferred.Understanding of SDLC and willingness to project manage system implementations.Ability to manage user security and system maintenance for various systems in a controlled environment.
