Senior Accountant

We have partnered with a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Greater Atlanta community. The team is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities:

Data clean up - making sure info came across accuratelyReconciling journal entries booked to old system and missed in new systemMonth end close activitiesRecurring entries clean upSupporting government audit, supporting orgs audit and regular auditHandle complex bank reconciliationsCollaboration with other team membersQualifications:

5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the nonprofit sectorMust be skilled in complex bank reconciliationsMust have Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
