Activities Director Lakeside Villa is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Director to lead our recreational programs and activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable environment. Key Responsibilities: Program Development: Design and implement a varied calendar of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. Assessment and Planning: Assess residents’ interests, needs, and abilities to tailor activities accordingly. Staff Collaboration: Work closely with caregiving staff to ensure activities are integrated into residents’ care plans. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local organizations, volunteers, and community resources to enhance program offerings. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of participation, feedback, and program outcomes; prepare reports for management as needed. Training and Supervision: Train and supervise activity aides and volunteers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Event Planning: Organize special events, outings, and celebrations that promote resident engagement and community involvement.
