This executive level position plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization. The Senior Director, FP&A will lead our financial planning and analysis department, and will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, profitability modeling, and implementing financial controls. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial health and strategic direction. Responsibilities: Lead the FP&A team in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting trends and providing insights to drive profitability and growth. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support decision making. Oversee the creation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the achievement of financial objectives. Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with short and long-term operational strategies. Evaluate the financial impact of new business opportunities, initiatives, and potential risks. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of profitability modeling and key performance indicators (KPIs). Solid experience in implementing and maintaining financial controls. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide a high-performing finance team. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information and concepts to non-financial managers. Proficient in the use of financial software and systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
