Excellent culture and peersJob DetailsAccounts Payable SpecialistDuties/Responsibilities: Perform 3-way invoice matching before processing invoices for payments Clarify any discrepancies in pricing, items or quantities Prepare invoices with appropriate documentation for approval prior to payment, if applicable Ensure invoices are posted to the correct GL accounts Maintain historical records by filing documents Reconcile account statements with vendors and resolve discrepancies Process ACH, wire, check payments to vendors Ensure timely payment to vendors General accounting support Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time Good written and oral communication skillsSkills/Experience:
Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills
Knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures
At least 3 years experience in general accounting and accounts payable
High attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge in using basic office equipment – computer, scanner, fax, printer, 10-key, etc
Microsoft Office proficient
