This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional aspiring to make a significant impact in patient care and contribute to the growth of our medical practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.Responsibilities:1. Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests to detect vision abnormalities and eye diseases.2. Prescribe corrective lenses and eyeglasses as per patients' needs.3. Provide pre-and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries.4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care to patients.5. Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene to prevent eye diseases and vision problems.6. Maintain up-to-date records of patients' eye conditions, treatments, and care.7. Stay abreast with the latest advancements in optometry and the medical industry.8. Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve eye care services.9. Use problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose complex visual problems and develop effective treatment plans.10. Utilize excellent time management skills to manage patient appointments and provide timely care.Qualifications:1. Licensed Optometrist.2. Licensed to practice optometry in the state.3. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make judgements about the appropriate care for patients.4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases.5. Exceptional time management skills to handle a high volume of patients efficiently and effectively.6. Proficient hard skills, including the use of optometry tools and equipment, as well as the ability to perform eye exams and interpret results.7. Strong language skills to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.8. Commitment to providing patient-centered care and adhering to medical ethics.9.
