Our law firm is actively seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their award-winning firm.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and equitable distribution.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation and counsel to clients in all areas of family law, including but not limited to child custody, child support, adoption, and equitable distribution.Conduct client meetings to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and develop a strategic plan to achieve their objectives.Prepare, draft, and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, presenting evidence and arguments effectively to protect client interests.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay updated on the latest developments in family law.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on case progress, and ensuring that they receive high-quality, personalized service.Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to ensure a comprehensive approach to client representation.Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 4 years of experience in family law, with proven expertise in child custody, child support, adoption, and equitable distribution.Licensed in North Carolina.Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and formulate effective legal strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.High ethical standards and professional integrity.Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
