This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 3 years of experience passionate about family law and eager to develop their skills. The successful candidate can work directly with clients, represent them in court, and contribute to a collaborative legal team. Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs and secure representation agreements.Provide expert legal advice on various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and more.Represent clients as the lead attorney (1st chair) in court proceedings, including trials, mediations, and depositions.Mentor and train junior team members, offering guidance and support to help them develop their legal skills.Stay updated on the latest developments in family law, particularly concerning Texas Family Law statutes.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the highest quality of legal representation and client satisfaction.Meet and exceed performance goals, contributing to the firm’s success.Requirements
0-3 years of experience practicing family law, particularly in divorce, child custody, and domestic violence.Strong knowledge of Texas Family Law statutes is preferred.Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the California Bar.Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Demonstrated compassion and a strong desire to assist clients through challenging personal situations.Strong mentoring and team coaching abilities.Consistent track record of exceeding performance goals and contributing positively to team environments.Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with relevant legal software.Education and Certifications
