Independently manage and litigate complex family law cases, including child custody disputes, divorces, and domestic violence issues.Represent clients in court proceedings, including motions, hearings, and trials.Provide legal representation during mediations and arbitrations.Perform legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and other related legal documents.Collaborate with clients to provide compassionate legal counsel while empowering them to take control of their situations.Work closely with clients, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations throughout the legal process.Requirements
At least 1 year of experience practicing family law.Proven experience in handling trials, mediations, and arbitrations.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive client relationships.Excellent legal writing and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Skills
Expertise in family law, including child custody, divorce, domestic violence, and mediation.Excellent legal research and drafting skills.Strong negotiation and alternative dispute resolution abilities.Effective case management and organizational skills.Empathy and understanding when working with clients in emotionally charged situations.
