This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who is passionate about providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to high net worth individuals and corporations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 20, managing client relationships, providing tax advisory services, and overseeing the execution of tax strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps.A people manager is preferred for this role!!!Why join us? Hybrid and flexible work schedule 401K Medical, dental, and vision HSA/FSAJob DetailsResponsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for high net worth clients and maintain strong relationships through excellent client service. Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax advantages. Provide expert advice on federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps. Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial statements to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide integrated financial solutions and services. Keep abreast of latest developments in tax laws and regulations and provide timely updates to clients and team members. Manage, mentor, and develop junior staff members to enhance their professional growth and contribution to the team. Participate in business development activities to expand the client base and increase revenue.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and consulting for high net worth individuals and corporations. Proven expertise in federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps. Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on providing exceptional client service. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of mentoring and developing staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
