Research the history of project sites and their surrounding context along with appropriate project precedents.Work directly with design principal and other design staff to interpret and develop conceptual ideas and sketches into schematic design presentations for a wide variety of project types.Produce architectural renderings and illustrative building and site plans.Collaborate with other design professionals to interpret schematic designs in the construction document and construction phases of the projects.Research zoning and building codes, building systems, materials and site requirements.Present design and planning concepts to clients and other governing bodies.Requirements:
10+ years as an Architect or Project ManagerBA in ArchitectureRegistered Architect or Designer is highly preferred2d and 2d drafting and modeling software knowledgeAdobe Creative SuitProficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, ArcGIS, Rendering software and Microsoft OfficeIn this role you will work side by side leadership and principals at the firm to gain an understanding of our process and project type
Working projects from start to finish in various sectorsBudgeting and coordination of proposals, bids and contractsManaging coding and keeping up to date on changes in requirements and documentationStrong construction administration knowledgeReview submittals and drawings
