Accelerated Career Growth Medical, Dental, Vision 401K Generous PTO Excellent retirement options Top Architecture and Engineering firmJob Details Lead project teams through all phases of the design process, coordinating efforts between in-house engineers and external consultants to ensure successful project development and technical delivery. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to execute project plans within the established scope, timeline, and budget. Oversee specific technical design aspects of major projects, including investigation, evaluation, and the recommendation of design solutions that align with client needs. Review value engineering options to maintain project budget compliance. Prepare technical reports, such as existing building assessments and concept design narratives. Conduct research on materials, methods, and products necessary for generating accurate architectural technical specifications. Perform technical detailing and oversee project documentation, providing guidance and mentoring to junior architectural staff. Conduct Quality Control reviews of project documents before reaching major milestones. Attend and occasionally lead client meetings, effectively presenting and communicating design concepts and technical aspects to client leaders and stakeholders. Conduct field investigations to assess existing site and building conditions, and lead a team to fully document these conditions on large projects. Perform building code and life safety analyses, and review code interpretations on other projects, offering recommendations for improvements when deficiencies are identified. Ensure the planning, organization, and execution of technical documentation necessary for code compliance and project construction. Provide construction administration support, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and performing site observations and inspections. Produce accurate 2D detailing using Autodesk Revit software with a strong working knowledge of recent versions.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture; Master’s or professional degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in producing and coordinating design and construction documents. Leadership experience in managing multi-discipline project teams. Architectural licensure strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Bluebeam, and Adobe software. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Desktop Connector. Familiarity with Revit productivity add-ins such as Ideate Software, CTC Tools, DiRoots, or PyRevit is a plus. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Docs module; knowledge of Design Collaboration and Model Coordination modules is advantageous. Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as Enscape and TwinMotion is desirable but not required. Skilled in project scheduling and work breakdown structures. Experience in identifying, specifying, detailing, and inspecting Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and Florida Product Approval building components. Proven ability to delegate tasks and manage the work of architectural staff on projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Interested in hearing more?
