Actively contribute to multi-disciplinary projects and oversee all project activities. Hold project teams accountable for adhering to best practices and quality standards. Manage projects in alignment with RLF guidelines, ensuring clear communication and thorough documentation. Monitor and manage contracts, project financials, invoicing, and collections. Forecast, develop, track, and adjust project budgets and schedules as needed. Establish project plans and milestones, coordinating efforts with internal and external teams to align with these plans. Lead external teams, coordinating with consultants, technical experts, and construction partners to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry best practices. Lead internal teams to complete the design and documentation for complex projects, organizing and facilitating project meetings. Manage project scope, preventing out-of-scope work and scope creep. Foster positive client relationships through proactive communication and high performance. Maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s business, operations, and corporate strategy. Uphold company culture and ensure team member engagement by managing workload and responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to project managers and staff, helping resolve issues and develop strategies for future success.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Licensed professional (e.g., Registered Architect, Professional Engineer). Additional certifications such as PMP or LEED are a plus. Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years of increasing responsibility in Department of Defense (DOD) projects. At least 1 year of experience with fee proposals. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening, comprehension, and nonverbal communication. Ability to represent RLF positively at client meetings, business functions, industry conferences, and professional association events. Passionate about delivering exceptional client service and exceeding client expectations to foster RLF's growth. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams involved in the design and construction of a project. Experience with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) is required.
