This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving financial firm by managing and optimizing our tax accounting processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax planning services. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our firm, and you will be working closely with our finance team and external auditors to ensure the accuracy of our financial records and tax filings.Responsibilities: Prepare and file accurate corporate tax returns in a timely manner. Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Conduct detailed tax research and planning to optimize our tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities. Analyze and review financial documents and reports for accuracy and completeness. Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary information. Work closely with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of all financial data and reports. Keep up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and inform management of any significant changes that could impact the company. Provide expert tax advice to management to support strategic decision-making. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Develop and implement effective tax accounting strategies to optimize our tax position.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate tax. Proven experience in preparing and filing corporate tax returns. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in tax accounting software and other financial management tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
