Profit SharingJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance) Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality assurance, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality in our manufacturing processes.Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain FSQA programs and systems to ensure compliance with all applicable food safety and quality regulations. Conduct regular audits of the quality system and provide detailed reports on the findings. Supervise and coordinate activities of the FSQA team to ensure all food safety and quality objectives are met. Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement corrective actions when necessary. Provide technical expertise and training to staff on food safety and quality assurance matters. Monitor and control the quality of raw materials and finished products. Investigate any food safety or quality issues and implement corrective actions. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in food safety and quality assurance and implement new strategies as required. Lead and manage the SQF (Safe Quality Food) program and act as the primary SQF practitioner.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, food quality, and food microbiology. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Quality System Auditing. Certified SQF practitioner or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
