This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that our firm's financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.Responsibilities:1. Process all client payments, ensuring that all deductions are accurately recorded and accounted for.2. Work closely with attorneys, secretaries, and other staff to resolve billing issues and answer any billing-related questions.3. Provide detailed reports on client activities to senior management.4.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.5. Prepare Write-off Requests for deductions not appealed. 6. Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information.7. Assist in special projects as assigned by management.Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal billing or a related field.3. Knowledge of legal software and proficiency in MS Office Suite.4. Strong understanding of the legal billing process, including deductions.5. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.8. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.9. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.11. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
