The HRBP will be responsible for the following:

HRBP with a key support focus on functional leaders, department managers, engineering leaders and their teams. Heavy focus on professional and paraprofessional employees with a strong influence in hourly production. Acts as a partner, advocate, and generalist with all HR COEs (Centers of Excellence).? Partners with Talent Management on topics including learning & development, training, performance management, talent review, culture & engagement, branding, philanthropy, and early career development.? Partners with Total Rewards & People Services on employee compensation, payroll, data management, health & wellness and retirement benefits.? Partners with Talent Acquisition on headcount vacancy management, interviewing and selection, pre-employment and onboarding. Partners with Safety and external vendors on varied projects, training, and other safety related topics including managing state and federal compliance for CDL drivers. Coordinates and partners with external vendors and internal department leaders managing the DOT driver compliance program(s). Manages various communication streams and strategies, in partnership with internal and external resources, for North America. Partners heavily with Talent Management in coordinating employee engagement activities and the employee engagement committee and well as our philanthropic endeavors.

Provides employee relations counseling, training, and problem solving for managers and employees to ensure a productive work environment, consistent with company values, policies and compliance to state and federal regulatory law. Advises, counsels, and provides training to managers and supervisors on performance concerns including corrective action plans. Investigates employee relations related complaints or allegations and recommends appropriate action. Must be able provide candid feedback from the employee’s and company’s perspective seamlessly.

Partners with Talent Management and leadership to identify and plan employee development needs and career paths. Monitors and develops policies and policy updates from an HR generalist perspective. Note that specific policy management is spread across each COE as well as the HRBPs. Shares in supporting all HR COEs as an advocate, and lending a hand when needed, to assure that we win as a team! Lead and/or participate on various project teams. Other duties as assigned.If you have 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role, Bachelors in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or similar, are experienced in working in a manufacturing environment (or closely related industry), preference for candidates who have worked in a COE & HRBP organization model, experience in multiple human resources generalist disciplines at all levels from production to professional level employees and experience with safety, worker's comp and CDL compliance preferred, than this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
