Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Chicago IL (SW Suburb Onsite)
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all policies, procedures, and programs related to manufacturing, and provide expert counsel to other HRBPs.
· Build trusted relationships that reflect the company's culture, vision, and values.
· Support HR Leadership Team in aligning people initiatives with the business vision and strategy, implementing change, and supporting business development.
· Provide trusted thought leadership and HR/employee relations advice to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and minimizing risks.
· Provide guidance to line management on coaching, counseling, career development, succession and talent management, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
· Develop and implement HR solutions to drive performance improvement and support business objectives.
· Collaborate with managers and leaders to evaluate and prepare for future talent needs, managing internal transitions and promotions.
· Lead change management initiatives, preparing managers and leaders to drive change effectively.
· Partner with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs) in leadership development, compensation, benefits, and staffing to drive organizational initiatives.
· Manage and develop plant apprenticeship program support.
· Provide administrative backup for HR performance management system.
· Participate in or lead specific projects as assigned, supporting the VP of Global Human Resources with reports, metrics, and miscellaneous projects.
· Develop and maintain all HR policies.
· Support learning and development opportunities.
· Leadership: Act as a team leader, coordinating team efforts, providing expert guidance, and maintaining completion schedules.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Bachelor’s with equivalent work experience and PHR designation is a plus.
·
7+years of experience in a manufacturing environment
resolving complex employee relations issues and progressive HR experience.
· Proven experience acting as a liaison between various HR functions, prioritize areas such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent assessments, succession planning, engagement/retention, and learning and development.
· Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with strong spreadsheet and data management skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and collaborative environment.
· Strong leadership qualities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
