Accelerated Career Growth!Job DetailsJob Details:Our company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a fundamental role in our financial management, which includes all corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Responsibilities:As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Coordinating with the finance team to complete assigned tasks within deadlines. Managing the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Reconciling bank statements, payroll, vendor accounts, and treasury accounts. Researching and resolving accounting matters in a timely manner. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines. Analyzing financial data and create monthly reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. Assisting in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred. Proven experience in the construction industry is highly desirable. Proficient with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with a software system implementation. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
