Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid California license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Willingness to float between like units- Ability to work every other weekend- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days Job Description: - Accept first-time travelers with the required experience.- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 key holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).- Must provide at least two supervisory references for at least one year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last three years.- Completion of non-billable modules averaging 16 hours. Over 20 hours requires prior approval.- Mandatory orientation of 40 hours. - Compliance with COVID-19 vaccine requirements; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.- Must work collaboratively and float across all facilities within the state when required. Refusal to float may result in assignment termination.- Providers receive communication devices for duty-related tasks.
