Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our thriving legal department and work on a variety of litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex litigation cases, with a particular focus on personal injury cases. They will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing cases, providing litigation support, writing legal documents, preparing for trials, ensuring legal compliance, and evaluating legal cases. The candidate will also have experience with legal software and case management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide relevant information to the team.
• Prepare and draft a wide range of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Efficiently manage all aspects of case management from initiation to closure, including tracking deadlines, maintaining organized files, and ensuring all case documents are accurately recorded and updated.
• Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys during trial, including coordinating witnesses, preparing exhibits, and assisting in trial strategy.
• Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legal formats and regulations.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing trial binders, and liaising with expert witnesses.
• Ensure all legal activities and documents are in line with laws, regulations, and legal ethics.
• Evaluate and analyze legal cases and claims, providing detailed reports to attorneys.
• Utilize legal software and case management systems for efficient processing and management of cases.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in the field of personal injury.
• Bachelor's degree in law or a related field, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution.
• Strong knowledge of legal research techniques and legal terminologies.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation and legal writing.
• Proven experience in case management and litigation support.
• Familiarity with trial preparation and legal compliance.
• Highly skilled in legal case evaluation and analysis.
• Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
