Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!**Why you'll love this job**+ This job is a member of the Payment Strategy and Operations Team within the Finance Division.+ Play a critical role in ensuring American bills its customers timely and accurately.+ Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to payment processing, operations and fees, as well as assisting in identifying process improvements**What you'll do**_As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._+ Performs daily monitoring and analysis of credit card processing volumes, ensuring customers are billed accurately, unused payment authorizations are cancelled, and losses minimized+ Researches exception items, including issue identification and underlying trends+ Develops dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics+ Assists with transaction level processing such as rejects and exceptions+ Works closely with internal teams to coordinate resolutions on production problems, cost reduction initiatives and associated payments reporting/policy/fraud issues+ Helps maintain Americans relationships with all domestic and international credit card schemes, processors and other payment partners+ Serves as a liaison to the Payment product delivery team related to technology projects and production issues+ Assists with other payments-related work, such as gift card fulfillment+ Summarizes and communicates issue findings to leadership+ Makes recommendations to leadership on improvements to team procedures and reporting+ Identifies payment issues across multiple sales channels, proposes solutions and contributes to implementation+ Works with station personnel and external partners to resolve issues with payment terminals**All you'll need for success****Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**+ 3 years related work experience in similar field/position+ Advanced knowledge of credit card processing, fraud, chargebacks, payment industry trends, and other payment related operations**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**+ ?Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant field or equivalent experience/training+ Airline experience+ Experience using business analytics tools**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**+ ?Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.+ Willingness to take initiative and ownership+ Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems and operational challenges+ Ability to create process documentation+ Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal+ Outstanding organizational skills+ Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management+ Work in a team environment as well as be successful independently**What you'll get**Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:+ Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
