Location: Herndon, VirginiaCurrently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director, Modern Software Development. This is a Hybrid Position in Herndon, VA to attend meetings as needed.Responsibilities:Establish and lead a software development practice within our Digital Transformation Division.Define the technical vision and manage software development projects.Foster a culture of innovation and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.Build client relationships and drive revenue growth.Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies.Minimum Qualifications:15+ years of relevant experience.Proven leadership experience with a successful track record of leading software development teams.Deep technical expertise in modern software development methodologies, technologies, and architectures (e.g., Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, UX/UI, cloud computing, microservices).Strong business acumen with an understanding of business objectives and technology strategies.Proven project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated success in leading capture and proposal efforts for deals greater than $50M.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation.Experience in a consulting environment.10+ years of US Federal Government Industry knowledge.Experience managing a software development P&L.Advanced degrees in computer science or related field.Security Clearance Requirements:US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.ManTech International Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
