Description
The Escrow Administration Manager is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of tax and insurance records on all mortgaged properties, and for the accurate and timely payment of all required disbursements.
The Escrow Administration Manager will be responsible for monitoring vendor performance and contract compliance by ensuring the appropriate controls and processes are in place to reduce risk, improve vendor performance, and ensure partnership efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs daily escrow operations, making recommendations to increase efficiency, improve timely payment of escrowed items and maintain full investor compliance.
Provides transparency on vendor performance and contract compliance.
Assists with the creation and/or maintenance of escrow department written policies and procedures.
Reviews payments and completes reconciliation of all tax bills to taxing authorities, and insurance payments to the provider in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensures that new parcel information is continuously updated within the servicing platform.
Responsible for the maintenance of all escrowed loan payment vouchers to minimize delinquency rate.
Reviews monthly and quarterly tax delinquency reporting for non-escrowed loans.
Reviews escrow analyses on escrowed loans to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Provides high-level assistance with mortgage hazard claim processing, including reviewing inspections and work orders, contracts, and other areas as needed.
Reviews and resolves escalated borrower-related issues.
Advises Management of project status, unresolved escalated items and/or potential risks/exposures.
Performs other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of professional-level experience is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other directly related mortgage experience.
Experience within a Mortgage Servicing Escrow Department is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
