Summary of PositionThis position reports to and partners with the Director of Gift and Data Management in the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure that constituent information is acquired, recorded, protected and properly maintained.
Oversees, sets priority for, and manages the day-to-day responsibilities and training of the Data Management team which consists of 2-3 full-time employees and a varying number of students and part-time employees.
Subject matter expert, responsible for maintaining high standards for data integrity, acquisition of constituent data (alumni, donor, prospect and friend) inputted and processed within the Advancement CRM.

Demonstrated skills in all aspects of biographic and demographic data maintenance and quality control oversight. Ability to review and audit database entries to ensure accuracy.

Job Duties
Duty/ResponsibilityResponsible for oversight and management of constituent biographic, demographic and contact information while adhering to the policies, procedures and processes and keeping within the guidelines governing USNH and Advancement. Protecting data according to the UNH Advancement Confidentiality and Data Usage Agreement.
Duty/ResponsibilityTrain, evaluate and ensure that staff are processing and inputting data following set processes and procedures. Analyze data quality control and automated data reports within the CRM to support external feeds, and ongoing data cleanup efforts. Delegate assignments and monitor project progress and staff accuracy rates, tracking all details internally for review by supervisor and staff alike, and assisting supervisor by addressing training issues with staff directly as necessary.
Duty/ResponsibilityMaintain high standards for data integrity and the confidentiality of constituent records. Schedule meetings with the team or team members to provide training and education on data processing policies, procedures and processes. Prepare for and conduct weekly scrum meetings.
Duty/ResponsibilityServe as a subject matter expert and speak on behalf of the team on business processes related to biographic and demographic data as well as navigation within the CRM. Perform constituent-specific research on an ad-hoc basis to troubleshoot complex records and scenarios.
Duty/ResponsibilityReview the GDM intake platform for submissions; evaluate, prioritize and delegate requests. Maintain and improve upon the access points by which Advancement staff submit updated constituent information to GDM.
Duty/ResponsibilityDevelop and execute proactive strategies to constantly improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of constituent data. Analyze the business processes and procedures handled within and outside of the CRM by the GDM team. Propose enhancements to create efficiencies and ease of workflows. Determine the need for additional quality control reports to ensure data integrity. Create or update existing business process documentation to support continued learning and a repository for need to know information. Develop productive relationships with counterparts throughout the UNH campuses to ensure critical relationship data is being shared with Advancement and recorded appropriately in the University's core alumni and donor CRM.
Duty/ResponsibilityGenerate and regularly update an online dashboard of metrics to be viewed by Leadership and Advancement staff that provides visibility for the department's efforts and impacts and aids in identifying trends and correcting issues proactively. Include biographic data input and maintenance figures, project progress, external and internal feed data, TeamDynamix submissions, gift processing and online giving figures.
Duty/ResponsibilityAssist with gift processing during high volume times. Perform other duties as assigned.
