Summary of PositionUnder the supervision of the Assistant Director of Employer Relations, the operations manager leads and manages operations, events, and programs for Career and Professional Success. The operations manager will collaborate with CaPS staff and employers campus-wide to create and execute strategic events and employer recruiting events (virtual or on-campus). This position requires the ability to take ownership and accountability for responsibilities, the initiative to lead operations, events, programming, and project management while working collaboratively with staff and the support specialist to ensure timely workflow.

Job Duties
Duty/ResponsibilityRELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENTServe as operational expert and liaison to university-wide events and recruiting events. stakeholders including staff, partners, students, and employers. Responsible for keeping open lines of communication and presenting new ideas and solutions.
Manage employer recruiting, event, and program timelines and provide status updates to appropriate personnel.
Support and triage employer and staff questions and requests.
Track employer engagement in Salesforce.
Help to steward and implement employer partnerships through event sponsorships.
Duty/ResponsibilityOPERATIONS & EVENT MANAGEMENTLead, project-manage, and execute operations for university-wide events and employer recruiting events.
Establish detailed intake proposals, timelines, and project plans.
Plan and implement events and employer recruiting through logistical processes and vendor relationships on and off campus.
Ensure the Handshake is ready each recruiting cycle by updating calendars, system settings, email, and web content. Coordinate with the CaPS Director team for logistics, including day, time, room availability, parking, and follow-ups.
Lead day of university-wide event and programmatic operations.
Open and facilitate event and employer recruiting event processes through use of Handshake and Microsoft platforms.
Communicate and update status to all parties involved including process and registrations.
Establish and utilize standard processes, protocols, and communication methods.
Prioritize continuous process improvement in event management methodology.
Orchestrate and create university-wide, CaPS, and recruiting event advertising and collateral materials.
Manage payments and track the revenue and expense budget for events and employer recruitment. Assist with monthly reports/updates on spending trends and present cost-saving opportunities to the Assistant Director of Employer Relations.
Duty/Responsibility
SUPERVISIONAssist with hiring, directing and evaluating student workers and/or other staff, including interviewing, training, advising on new procedures, coordinating information, and shifting work to accommodate workload needs.
