Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality inspections on in-process and final products. Utilizing a range of inspection techniques and equipment, the Inspector will ensure that all products meet company and customer standards.Essential Functions

Essential functions indicated for Inspector ITrain and mentor new and current employees on department operations and procedures.Guide less experienced inspectors, providing solutions, and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures.Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and Customer Certification Requirements.Assist production teams in adhering to ISO9001 processes.Conduct in-process and final inspections with minimal assistance.Inspect products received from outside processes and ensure compliance with specifications.Perform additional duties as assigned, including participation in audits and compliance projects.Technical Competencies

Competences indicated for Inspector I.Advanced knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed manufacturing drawings.Strong understanding of hand measurement tools and measurement equipment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, using Mie Trak, SolidWorks, and CMM tools.Behavioral Competencies

Ability to manage multiple projects, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing circumstances.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work and team collaboration.Ability to handle conflict resolution, mentor others, and respond effectively under pressure.Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills to manage their teams.Education & Professional Experience

Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience preferred.Extensive knowledge of appliable manufacturing processes.Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, AS 9100, and/or Medical ISO13485 standards.GD&T training certificate from recognized instructor.Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Capability to use hands and fingers for operating equipment and handling parts of various sizes.Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs, moderately throughout the workday.Visual acuity for close vision, color vision, depth perception, and sharp focus.Work in a fast-paced environment with noise conditions ranging from moderate to extreme; hearing protection is provided if needed.Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.Work Hours/Travel
