Your Role:

This role is responsible for leading the Data, Analytics & Insights capabilities for the Commercial Organization, and delivering the strategic leadership required to transform data into action for US and Global Commercial Teams. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will enhance our data, analytics, and insights strategy and capabilities to drive actionable insights to fuel peak performance of US and Global Commercial team.

This role will champion SpringWorks Therapeutics' position as a leader in Rare Disease and Oncology by leveraging domain expertise, passion for cutting-edge technology, and exceptional critical thinking to serve as a thought partner for commercial stakeholders and deliver best-in-class analytical capabilities. This individual will also serve as an integral member of the Commercial Leadership Team and Enterprise Data Strategy Team, working closely with key commercial and G&A business partners to cultivate a connected data and analytics environment.

This role will lead a team of D&A experts to drive commercial opportunities while continuously improving operational performance of commercial functions. This leader will be the key liaison with our information technology and key external vendors to ensure a smooth and transparent transition of raw data to key insights. This leader will be the fundamental driver for data integration, dashboards, executive reporting, marketing mix optimization assessments, data purchasing agreements, targeting, sales reporting and integrated digital, cross-channel analytics.

Location Classification – Remote:

Officially classified as working full-time from employee's home office within the United States or respected region, with the expectation to travel to SpringWorks Therapeutics offices or other locations on occasion as business needs #LI-Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Chief Commercial Officer with decision-making on critical items shaping the commercial business. Briefs management on relevant developments to inform corporate strategy and development.

Shapes the vision, design, and development of Data, Advanced Analytics & Insights, including roles, accountabilities, and systems, leveraging deep domain expertise and expert consultative and collaboration skills to consistently deepen the business strategy and inform current and emerging priorities so that relevant data and analytical capabilities can be secured to identify, reach, engage, attract, and convert customers and shape marketplaces.

Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of commercial data & insights environment to include data strategy, sourcing, integration, and management; data infrastructure build and implementation; analytics and reporting needs assessment and development; key vendor partner identification and integration; etc.

Driving market research insights aligned to overall company and individual brand objectives that is harmonized across and synergistic with data and analytics.

Responsible for building, evolving and innovating a best in industry sales reporting and insight environment leveraging our internal data streams to present opportunities and challenges in near real time.

Ensures transparency into key drivers and sensitivities so that the Commercial Organization remains agile and data-driven in its decision making for key business activities, e.g., go-to-market strategy, early-stage product evaluation to support business cases, business prioritization, customer segmentation and targeting, market performance.

Ensure Commercial Data Analytics & Insights team is working effectively with cross-functional commercial partners in Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and Commercial Training & Development.

Hires, mentors, and develops talent in alignment with business needs and succession goals for Commercial and SpringWorks, championing a learning and teaching environment.

Manage department budgets and resources.

Define processes that evolve the capability of the department.

Work closely with compliance and ensure alignment with internal and external guidelines.

Establish succinct, well-defined, traceable business metrics and reporting.

Work with other commercial functions to define KPIs and ensure methods are in place to measure and report on them on a regular basis to assess performance.

Qualifications:

BA or BS degree required.

Advanced degree in analytics, biotechnology, and/or business management preferred.

12+ years analytics experience in Rare Diseases and/or Oncology with a Bachelor's degree; or 10 years and a Master's degree or a PhD with 6 years experience; or equivalent experience.

6+ years forming and leading teams of technical analytics and insights experts with 1 year of managing multiple functions.

Experience in forecasting and advanced/predictive analytics.

US and Global experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop high-performing data & analytic talent.

Strong track record of successfully translating business needs into effective insight solutions that exceed expectations.

Strong working knowledge of critical steps involved in the "analytic to business action" process, including data strategy, acquisition, management, insights generation & insights delivery.

Experience working with data integrators, distributor data streams, patient support data, ICD-10.

Expert proficiency on data sources and categories to support the data and information requirements for the commercial analytics journey, including but not limited to traditional data sources (e.g., EMR/claims, pharmacy, supply chain, and consumer data) as well as emerging data sources (e.g., social media, survey data, and big longitudinal datasets of commercial medical and pharmacy claims culled from insurers, universities and other sources).

Deeply understands catalysts and technology innovations driving shifts in data marketplaces (e.g., AI, machine learning, and the rise of "map makers").

This position must be able to work East Coast hours.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $270,000 – $370,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
