As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an eCommerce Director to drive the growth of our online business in the US and help us reach new heights.
Job Overview:The eCommerce Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Allies of Skin's eCommerce operations in the US and in key international markets, focusing on driving online sales growth, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing website engagement and conversion. You will lead the strategy and execution of eCommerce initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across marketing, product development, and customer service. You will be responsible for the performance, growth and development of the eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and data analytics, with a proven track record of scaling online sales and building customer experiences that grow conversion and customer loyalty.
You'll Do
Lead, manage, and develop the eCommerce team.Develop and implement strategies and website roadmap to drive revenue growth, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV).Own the end-to-end management of the Allies of Skin eCommerce platform, ensuring the smooth operation of the website and maximizing sales performance.Lead website performance optimization efforts.Collaborate with global marketing, D2C marketing, and creative teams to align eCommerce initiatives with the broader company objectives.Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, AOV, engagement, etc.).Build the U.S. and international campaign calendar in partnership with global teams to align to monthly brand and sales objectives. Coordinate with all relevant teams to ensure consistency and timely execution across all channels.Support customer acquisition and retention strategies through effective website merchandising and customer journeys optimized for conversion throughout the funnel.Partner with product development, supply chain management, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and optimal customer experiences.Monitor industry trends, platform enhancements, and digital best practices to inform future opportunities.Present website performance reports to internal teams and stakeholders on a regular basis (weekly/monthly).
You are
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.5+ years of experience in eCommerce management with a strong track record of scaling online sales for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, ideally in the beauty or skincare industry.Experience managing an eCommerce team.Proven expertise in managing eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento.Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics and other tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and developing/managing the user experience roadmap.Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies – SEO, paid search, email marketing, and paid social – to inform website strategies and plans.Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
